In Villard-de-Lans at the heart of the Vercors, Colline-des-Bains has great snowy pistes for young beginners and enthusiasts of every kind of snow sport.
Run by professionals, the bright and cheerful ski and toboggan runs give the Kids Garden an atmosphere of fun and games.

With

. 6 toboggan runs, and
. a walkway,

the site provides a wide range of activities from relaxing walks to thrilling ski runs.
Youngsters can discover the fun of skiing in the Kids Garden while the more adventurous can whizz down the tobogganing runs.  And for hassle-free fun, we have installed an uphill conveyor belt to carry skiers and tobogganers to the top of the slopes!

* Les P’tits Lugeurs

For your very first sliding sensations on snow...
This sledge area is for very young children, offering a risk-free slope face for their very first sledging experiences. 

* La Grande Piste

Enjoy the snow with your mates!
This run is for all kinds of sledges and for all ages. With its 12% incline, managing speed and direction becomes child's play. The bumps at the top and the banked turns add a little spice to the run.
 

 * Le Boarder 

Grab your sledge and go for it!
This miniature bob run, a real tube dug into the snow, offers a more sporting version of sledding. 

* Le Double Boarder 

Show your friends who's the king of the slopes!
This run is 6m wide with an incline of 10-20% for organising races between friends. 

* Le Toboggan

Time for thrills on the slope designed exclusively for toboggans with brakes. 

* Le Déluge

One slope to indulge freely in the ultimate sensation of winter sports... Not for the faint hearted!

* Deposit or ID required for rental equipment.
* Booking of site possible outside public hours (morning or evening)
* French Ski School lessons for beginners (3-5 years of age) are available daily throughout the season.
* No picnic room on site.
* Sledge and helmet rental only.
* Don’t forget your gloves and your helmet!
* All children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.

* The Father Christmas/Cote 2000 return run

From the skiing area of Cote 2000, take the Father Christmas Trail (3.5 km) back to the village, arriving at Colline-des-Bains. 

* The Kids Garden:

  
At the heart of the village, the ESF runs a special snow area for young children. Group skiing lessons for beginners aged 3 to 6 years old.
 

Our Kids Garden is designed to introduce your children to the fun of snow sports in the best possible conditions. (Children must bring their own skis, shoes and afternoon snack).

LA MAISON DE LA COLLINE

A reminder of all your childhood flavours in a warm, family atmosphere.

After an afternoon on the snow, there's nothing like it to stoke up on energy again: hot chocolate and a piece of bread and jam. At any time of day, the Maison de la Colline snack bar offers a wide range of sweet snacks or savoury dishes in the true mountain tradition. The central fireplace offers comfort and warmth inside, which outside, the solarium and terrace hold out an invitation to rest and relaxation.
